WORK-BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCES ACROSS EUROPE
VET Mobility
Every year Xarxa FP arranges about 800 mobility actions including internships for VET students and training for VET teachers in European cities members of the network. The funding for VET Mobility actions comes mostly from the Erasmus + Programme.

VET Innovation
Xarxa FP explores the opportunities that the internationalisation of VET offers in terms of innovation and exchange of knowledge and good practices. We work on 4 transnational projects: Industrial VET Hub, Port VET Hub, PE-LE and Logistics VET Hub.
CONTRIBUTING TO THE EU EDUCATION MOBILITY POLICIES
VET Policy
Xarxa FP, as the only existing European network of cities working on VET mobility and innovation, contributes with its expertise in key European policy dialogue events and consultations in the VET field. In particular, we are members of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) and partners with the Cities4Apprenticeships network.

Xarxa FP closes 2017 with a new record in the management of mobilities, reaching out more than 600 mobility actions for VET students and staff. Today the European Commission has published the Erasmus Plus Call for Proposals 2018 with the expected €200 million budget increase compared to 2017 and introducing the Erasmus PRO initiative to boost long term mobility for VET learners. The total budget of Erasmus Plus for 2018 is €2.7 billion, more than ever before. As in 2016

Global Innovation through ECVET (InnovECVET) is an Erasmus+ KA1 project aimed at promoting the quality, internationalisation and innovation of VET in Europe. The project, coordinated by Xarxa FP, has two main mobility flows to be implemented in 2017: the first one to Rovaniemi (Finland) in September and the second one to Brussels (Belgium) in October.
