WORK-BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCES ACROSS EUROPE
VET Mobility
Every year Xarxa FP arranges about 800 mobility actions including internships for VET students and training for VET teachers in European cities members of the network. The funding for VET Mobility actions comes mostly from the Erasmus + Programme.

VET Innovation
Xarxa FP explores the opportunities that the internationalisation of VET offers in terms of innovation and exchange of knowledge and good practices. We work on 4 transnational projects: Industrial VET Hub, Port VET Hub, PE-LE and Logistics VET Hub.
CONTRIBUTING TO THE EU EDUCATION MOBILITY POLICIES
VET Policy
Xarxa FP, as the only existing European network of cities working on VET mobility and innovation, contributes with its expertise in key European policy dialogue events and consultations in the VET field. In particular, we are members of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) and partners with the Cities4Apprenticeships network.

In October, students from Madrid and Barcelona took part in the Basic VET Project: Internships in Europe, an enriching experience that allowed students from diverse sectors—such as electricity, electronics, and plumbing—to spend 10 days in Toulouse, completing internship programs in BTP CFA Occitanie. Last month students from Alcoi, Madrid and Barcelona participated in Basic VET Project: internships in Europe. Students from several sectors as mechanics, hairdressing, electricity, administration, IT…had an opportunity to be abroad for 15 days doing an internship program in companies and VET schools in Vejle, Munich and Toulouse.
