Espoo, March 5, 2025 – The XXVI Xarxa FP General Assembly took place in Espoo, Finland, bringing together representatives from European cities to discuss the network’s future initiatives and strategies for vocational education and training (VET) mobility. Hosted at Omnia Campus, the event focused on key discussions regarding the work plan for 2024 and 2025, budget allocations, and the strengthening of international cooperation.

During the assembly, it was announced that the city of Patras (Greece) has been provisionally incorporated into the Xarxa FP network, marking a significant expansion of collaboration. The event also included a tour of Omnia Campus, showcasing its role in vocational education, and a Mobility Managers Meeting, which provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and enhance student and staff mobility across the network.

The General Assembly reaffirmed the commitment of participating cities to fostering high-quality vocational training mobility, strengthening partnerships, and supporting innovation in education across Europe. A heartfelt thank you was extended to all attendees for their participation, with special appreciation to Omnia for their outstanding organization and warm hospitality.
