120 students participate in the III Erasmus+ Infoday in Alcoi (ES)

Last 22nd of December 2016 Alcoi organised its 3^rd Erasmus+ Infoday specifically addressed to vocational education and training students in order to encourage their participation in the mobility activities that the European programme offers them.

The Secretary General of Xarxa FP, Mr Jordi Castillo, was also invited to present the work and added value of the network. In 2016 Xarxa FP arranged 396 mobility actions among the 23 European cities members of the network: 236 work placements for VET students and 161 training actions for VET teachers. Moreover, he also highlighted some key figures from Xarxa FP 1^st Mobility Impact Study which analyses the effects of mobility on the employability, career prospects and competences of students sent through the network between 2012 and 2015. The study will be launched next 15^th of February in Barcelona, the day after Xarxa FP’s XVII General Assembly.

The event also included the presentation of some personal experiences from students and VET Centres from the city that took part in previous editions of Erasmus+ mobility actions via Xarxa FP.
