Last 23rd and 24th of October, a delegation of VET institutions in Catalonia and Madrid, accompanied by members of the Secretariat General of XARXA FP and the British Embassy in Spain, met up with Technical and Vocational Education and Training UK (TVET UK). The visit was coordinated by UK Trade & Investment in Barcelona and Madrid. Xarxa FP accompanied a reduced number of VET schools interested in starting potential collaboration agreements with UK colleges, as a pilot project and as a continuation of the meetings held on the last month of May of 2014. Due to this visit to the UK, there is a common will to organizing a second similar meeting in Barcelona so that to expand the range of possibilities of collaboration with other interested VET centres of Barcelona and Madrid. Xarxa FP commits to inform the representatives of VET schools as soon as we got more information.
