Last 17th november 2022, took place the Erasmus + Day in the Àgora space, organized by the Department of Employment, Business and Training of Alcoi City Council and the CIP FP Batoi. This initiative is aimed at young people who study Vocational Training in the city and are interested in participating in the Erasmus+ program. During the conference, this European mobility program was presented, focusing on the benefits of a stay abroad for students.
Also highlight the importance of the figure of the Mobility Manager, who accompanies VET schools and the participants throughout the process. Besides, pointing the membership of Alcoi city council of Xarxa FP since 2012.
In addition, different students who have recently returned from an Erasmus + experience explained their experiences abroad. In the second part, there was a speed-dating with small group meetings so young people could ask all those doubts about the Erasmus + program. The day was very dynamic and the students themselves were able to communicate with each other, sharing experiences and a common restlessness and excitement. The event was closed by Alberto Belda, Councilor for Employment, Business and Training, who encouraged young people to live this experience, not just for their professional development but also to their personal background. He also explained that Alcoi City Council has granted Xarxa FP Network Awards to those centers involved in Erasmus + program who are collaborating with Alcoi City Council under the umbrella of Xarxa FP.
