Last 18th of October the Executive Committee of Xarxa FP met in the city of Munich (Germany) to start preparing the network’s 20th anniversary which will take place next 5th of February 2019 in Barcelona.
The event will include a round table with students, teachers and Mobility Managers whom their experience abroad had a significant impact in their professional and personal life and the presentation of the second edition of Xarxa FP Mobility Impact Study (2014-2018). For the time being the Association has managed more than 500 mobilities and in the last months of 2018 is expected to reach more than 600. At this moment Berlin, Barcelona and Zwolle (NL) are the most active cities.
The Industrial VET Hub project planning and implementation was also presented during the meeting, the first Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership supporting the exchange of good practices that Xarxa FP is running. The kick-off meeting will take place in December 2018 and the project’s implementation will last until 2020.
In particular Executive Committee members reviewed very positively Prague’s application for membership and are looking forward for the exploratory visits to assess Herning’s (Denmark) and Lublin’s (Poland) candidature. Furthermore in the last months the Secretariat has been in contact with around ten other cities that show some interest in Xarxa FP membership.
