WORK-BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCES ACROSS EUROPE
VET Mobility
Every year Xarxa FP arranges about 800 mobility actions including internships for VET students and training for VET teachers in European cities members of the network. The funding for VET Mobility actions comes mostly from the Erasmus + Programme.
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS AT THE EUROPEAN LEVEL
VET Innovation
Xarxa FP explores the opportunities that the internationalisation of VET offers in terms of innovation and exchange of knowledge and good practices. We work on 4 transnational projects: Industrial VET Hub, Port VET Hub, PE-LE and Logistics VET Hub.
CONTRIBUTING TO THE EU EDUCATION MOBILITY POLICIES
VET Policy
Xarxa FP, as the only existing European network of cities working on VET mobility and innovation, contributes with its expertise in key European policy dialogue events and consultations in the VET field. In particular, we are members of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) and partners with the Cities4Apprenticeships network.

A Spanish delegation of 19 Head of VET Schools realised a study visit in Rovaniemi (Finland) from 25th to 29th of April. Xarxa FP, the European reference network on VET mobility, will hold its XVII General Assembly next 18th of February in Rovaniemi (Finland). The General Assembly (GA) will gather all representatives and Mobility Managers of each city of the network to review what has been done in 2015 and discuss new actions and projects for 2016.

The mobility records from 2015 show an impressive increase in teachers’ mobility (+514%), setting a new record in the history of the network.
