Xarxa FP submits its pledge to become a member of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships

Last 15^th of June Xarxa FP Executive Committee met in Munich and, among other topics discussed, decided to submit its candidature to become a member of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships.

The European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) is a unique platform which brings together governments with other key stakeholders, like businesses, social partners, chambers, vocational education and training (VET) providers, regions, youth representatives or think tanks. The common goal is to strengthen the quality, supply and image of apprenticeships in Europe.

The Alliance is a platform for sharing experiences, learning from best practices and access the latest news and tools on apprenticeships in Europe. Through its pledge, Xarxa FP aims to promote and increase the number, quality and attractiveness of apprenticeships, and more specifically, to enhance mobility opportunities for apprentices.

The Executive Committee also reviewed the implementation of the Work Plan 2016 within the framework of the strategic plan of the Association 2016-2020 and started organising the agenda for the XVIII General Assembly which will be held in Barcelona on 16-17^th of February 2017.
