A Spanish delegation of 19 Head of VET Schools realised a study visit in Rovaniemi (Finland) from 25th to 29th of April.
The aim of the study visit was to get to know the Finnish Vocational Education and Training system and its work based learning model.
Our colleagues from the Rovaniemi Municipal Federation of Education organised one week of activities, including visits to VET schools, institutions and companies and presentation of innovative projects fighting early school leaving and anticipating and forecasting the skills’ need through work based learning models. Other case studies were presented in relation to VET quality, curricula design and qualification frameworks, among other topics.
The participants that took part in the study visit were Head of VET Schools coming from the Spanish cities of Xarxa FP network: Barcelona, Madrid, Alcoi, Gandia, Mislata and Reus.
