Xarxa FP has been selected as a finalist practice on social innovation at the “10×10 Càpsules d’Innovació Social”.
The project is run by SUMAR and UpSocial, two organisations aiming at fostering social innovation and its scalability to resolve pressing social needs. Every year they organise a call for innovative practices dealing with a specific social challenge. This year’s edition call aimed at identifying innovative practices which targets reconnecting disadvantaged young people with the labour market and training activities.
Xarxa FP was chosen finalist among more than 100 practices that took part in the call. In particular the jury highlighted Xarxa FP’s role in improving the quality of Vocational Education and Training (VET) across Europe by developing common mobility strategies among cities and promoting strategic partnerships through international VET projects.
