Xarxa FP celebrated its 25th anniversary on 13th of March with an event in Barcelona counting with the participation of more than 100 attendees, including local authorities, vocational and education training schools, students, friends and representatives from more than 30 European cities members of the association. Ms. Maria Ortueta, Head of Vocational Education and Training Unit at SEPIE, the Spanish National Erasmus Plus Agency, focused her keynote speech on the future of internationalization of Vocational Training.

The event included a round table with the participation of mobility managers, staff and students to discuss their Erasmus experiences.

Among the local authorities, we had the participation of Joan Ramon Riera, Joan Clos and Mercè Chacón.

The 14th of March, Xarxa FP held its XXV General Assembly, gathering around 40 representatives from 25 European cities. During the General Assembly, participants reviewed the results of the last year, discussed new actions and projects for 2024, changed the statutes to participate with countries beyond EU and welcomed two new cities: Dijon (France) and Amersfoort (Netherlands).

The main difference with other assemblies was becoming more concentrated in time to give more space to the mobility manager’s meeting.

At the end of the day, we’ve had a nice visit to one of the main VET schools in Barcelona (Escola del Treball)

We’d like to appreciate all the attendees and people involved in those events and send many thanks to all members of Xarxa FP for their trust in our work and their collaboration.
