Xarxa FP attended the Joint European Parliament and European Commission Conference ‘Mobility of Apprentices in Europe – A contribution to youth employment and competitiveness of business,’ that took place on 21-22 of March in Brussels, combined with an European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) meeting.
The conference was hosted by MEP Jean Arthuis, the driver behind the long-term mobility of apprentices in Europe pilot project by the European Parliament that inspired the ErasmusPRO initiative, and gathered practitioners and policy makers involved in promoting mobility in the VET sector.
The conference included exchange of experiences with mobile apprentices, VET Centres and policy makers and representatives from the European Commission presented the latest facts, data and trends about VET mobility in Europe.

Xarxa FP is a member of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) since 2016, which gathers at present members from 36 countries including 282 pledges with the aim of strengthening the quality, supply and overall image of apprenticeships across Europe, while also promoting the mobility of apprentices.
