During the first semester of 2018 the Secretariat and five member cities have been successfully audited according to new version of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standards.

ISO 9001 is the world’s most popular and most commonly used standard for quality management systems. Since 2007 the management of Xarxa FP mobility actions are certified by ISO 9001 quality standards.

Xarxa FP policy is to provide a high level service and quality in the management of our students’ and teachers’ mobility actions to become a reference organisation within the area of European mobility.

2018 was the last year to adapt our quality management system to the new version of ISO 9001:2015. The previous one dated from 2008.

The new version of ISO 9001 settles its structure according to the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act), giving additional momentum to the continuous and systematic improvement of processes within organisations. Moreover, risk-based thinking has a very important place in ISO 9001:2015. Organisations are strongly encouraged to use risk analysis in order to decide by themselves which challenges they see in the management of the business processes.
